Jade was in her final year of studies at Land, specializing in Psychology. In their educational system, students were required to choose one of three fields: Land, Air Force, or Navy. The students usually graduate at the age of sixteen if they opted not pursue any major courses, thus, they will be serving in the combat troops for Land, Air Force or Navy. However, Jade's decision to study Psychology extended her academic journey by an additional fourteen months. She had to admit the fact that she was not the most studious type, a rather mediocre student, but really into psychology.
Other than cramming for exams, the students also participated in training classes where they could choose from a variety of weapons to learn. Jade took up martial arts and archery classes. She was extra alert for not being cavalier in her studies either, especially during the final year. Recognizing the intensity of the course, she was determined to avoid the need for any module test retakes, ensuring her graduation before her eighteenth birthday.
Jade had chosen the Aqua Bow as her primary weapon for her Fighting and Defense Class. Mastery of at least one weapon was a mandatory requirement for all students. This particular choice was something she never grew tired of. Engaging in physical exercise and sports was far more appealing to her than sitting in the auditorium, struggling to keep her eyes open during class.
The Aqua Bow represents a more advanced iteration of the crossbow pistol, featuring a V-shaped limb and a shorter bowstring. The bow is attached to the wrist, and the quiver case is positioned just below it. To select and release arrows at varying speeds and directions, a sensory glove is utilized, connected to the bow through a transmission system. When the Aqua Bow is ready to dispense an arrow, the limb glows with a bright Aqua light, and a bow sight window is projected, providing a clear indication of the impending release.
